Matterform today released version 1.3 of Sonar, the ultimate file security tool for Mac OS X. The new version provides compatibility with Intel-based Macintosh computers. Version 1.3 also runs on older PowerPC Macs.
Version 1.3 includes universal binary support for the core Sonar technology. The program interface still operates on Intel computers under the Rosetta emulation technology. Another update is planned later this year to provide full universal binary support.
The new version also includes a number of bug fixes and minor improvements.
Version 1.3 is a free upgrade for all registered users. New licenses cost $17.95. A free demo is also available. Sonar is available at www.matterform.com.
