When Spam Vaccine is launched, it will try to connect to the Matterform
Web site to see if there is a newer version of Spam Vaccine available.
If it finds a newer version, Spam Vaccine will inform you about the new
features that have been added and provide a button-link to the Matterform
If you do not want Spam Vaccine to check for updates automatically, uncheck the box Check for New Versions Automatically. You can still check for new versions by choosing Check Web for New Version from the Help menu.
Important privacy note: When Spam Vaccine contacts the Matterform Web site, it does not transmit any information about your computer. It merely asks for an XML file and hangs up. Our server automatically keeps track of the number of requests for that XML file but does not track any information about you.
