If
you are upgrading from version 1.1 or 1.2 to a later version, there are
a couple steps you should take. Failure to do this
can cause errors when you vaccinate new Web pages.
The spam_vaccine.js script file has been updated for version 1.2.
If you are upgrading from version 1.1, You should delete the spam_vaccine.js
file currently in the support files folder
of your local Web site. The next time you vaccinate a file, the file
will be replaced with the 1.2 version. Then you must upload the new
spam_vaccine.js file to the correct place on your Web site.
The Vaccination process has been modified to be more compatible with
recent browsers (see version
history for info). You should re-vaccinate any Web pages
that were vaccinated with version 1.1 or 1.2. Simply vaccinate the back-up
files that Spam Vaccine created the first time you vaccinated your
Web pages. If you use the Pro Version,
you can simply vaccinate your entire site. This will vaccinate all the
back-up files (assuming you haven't moved or removed them).
